Python Web Crawling Specialist
About us
XPLN has been on the market for over 7 years, focusing on data crawling, collection, and analysis for our clients. We are looking for a skilled Python developer with strong expertise in web crawling and data scraping to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web scraping solutions using Scrapy, Selenium, and Playwright
- Handle various bot protections (e.g., Cloudflare) and implement advanced bypass techniques
- Work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL to store and manage large data sets
- Integrate services using FastAPI and Kafka for data processing and communication
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues using the ELK stack
- Optimize scraping workflows for scalability and performance
Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial web crawling experience
- Strong Python skills and understanding of asynchronous/concurrent programming
- Hands-on experience with proxy management, headless browsers, and automation frameworks
- Familiarity with Linux environments, Git, and containerization tools (e.g., Docker)
- Proven ability to handle website restrictions, CAPTCHAs, or other anti-bot measures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Good spoken English
