IT Poduct Manager (owner)

Main responsibilities

Product Strategy & Planning

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain a clear product vision, long- and short-term goal and OKRs for the ERP system.
• Define KPIs, implement events, track quantitative data to ensure the goals are reached.
• Translate business needs into structured product roadmaps with prioritization frameworks (e.g., RICE, WSJF, etc.).
• Build and maintain a backlog of well-defined and prioritized features, bugs, and tech debt.
• Write Product Documentation, write ticket requirements.

Delivery & Communication

• Act as the main point of contact between company and the development team.
• Organize and facilitate planning meetings, grooming sessions, demos, and retrospectives.
• Define task and sprint planning processes, maintain timelines, and manage expectations across teams.

User-Centered Development

• Work closely with a UX/UI Designer to define, test, and validate interface improvements.
• Gather and analyze user feedback, identify patterns, and ensure solutions are designed around real user needs.
• Create mockups, specs, and documentation to support usability and development.

Quality & Testing

• Define and enforce acceptance criteria and testing standards in collaboration with QA and engineering teams.
• Oversee the implementation of pre-release testing and ensure features meet quality benchmarks before deployment.

Process Improvement

• Help define and implement task management tools (e.g., Jira, ClickUp) and best practices.
• Lead initiatives to integrate monitoring tools, organize bug triage processes, and reduce technical debt.

Hard Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner, preferably in internal systems or B2B SaaS.
• Proven experience managing ERP, CRM, or complex backend platforms with multiple user roles.
• Experience in collaboration with outsourced distributed engineering teams
• Strong knowledge of product development methodologies: Agile, Scrum, Kanban.
• Experience with product prioritization techniques (RICE, ICE, WSJF).
• Comfortable using tools like Jira, Confluence, ClickUp, Miro, Figma.
• Ability to write clear and actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation.
• Familiarity with system architecture and cloud technologies is a plus.
