What you’ll do:

Continuously monitor and analyze Open Banking and Open Finance developments, including regulatory frameworks (e.g., PSD2, PSR), data protection (e.g., GDPR), and consumer protection standards, providing actionable insights for route-to-market strategies and product innovation, serving as a the source of updated for the Open Banking Info Portal.
Update the Open Banking status of all countries in scope every two months with comprehensive and current information on regulatory developments, financial institutions, and market insights, supporting organizational expansion into new markets.
Identify and evaluate market readiness triggers that inform regulatory compliance and route-to-market planning, ensuring timely and compliant entry strategies.
Work closely with product teams to interpret regulatory changes, assess their impact on existing and future products, and identify growth opportunities that align with compliance and business objectives.
Establish and maintain relationships with National Competent Authorities (central banks, financial market authorities), banking associations, and fintech platforms to foster collaboration, gather market intelligence, and support the practical implementation of Open Banking initiatives.
Serve as a primary liaison and subject matter expert on Open Banking trends, frameworks, and best practices, ensuring stakeholders have accurate, timely, and relevant information.
Conduct operational research, competitive analysis, and market assessments to develop and validate business cases for market entry, product launches, and partnership opportunities.
Support business development and sales teams with research-driven insights, including the creation of reports, presentations, event materials, and business cases to strengthen market positioning and sales performance.
Contribute to the product line designed for central banks and regulatory authorities with intelligence and research needed.
Develop and implement reporting systems for sales and business development KPIs and metrics, enabling data-driven decision-making and continuous performance improvement.

What you need:

Fluent written and spoken English;
5+ years of successful experience in complex research & business analysis positions, banking or financial services background would be considered an advantage.
Proven experience with working with large data sets;
Advanced Excel skills;
Proficiency in visualizing data and transforming data into insights;
Attention to details;
Proven experience with building forecasts and business cases;
Hands-on mentality, ability to balance long-term strategic initiatives with operations and execution;
Self-starter, goal-oriented, focused and excellent in time management;
Experience with working across geographic and cultural boundaries
