.NET Developer

The company:
Foreign company specialized in logistics and distribution services.

Responsibilities:
• Design, code and test new Windows and web software applications;
• Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to Visual Studio, ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#/VB.NET;
• Create and deliver data-driven reports;
• Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects;
• Investigate and develop skills in new technologies;
• Create technical specifications and test plans;
• Create new and extend existing operational documentation;
• Implement new software;
• Consult closely with team leader in Belgium related to projects and tasks;
• Consult colleagues concerning maintenance and performance of software systems.

Qualifications & Experience:
• At least 2 years of equivalent or related experience;
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field;
• Experience in .NET programming using C#/VB.NET;
• Fluent in ASP.NET, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript development;
• Experience with Object Relational Mapping/nHibernate;
• Experience with WinForm/WPF is a plus;
• Fluent English;
• Ability to understand complex code and to take part in a team of qualified .NET developers;
• Willingness to switch from one project to another.
