Automation Engineer

The company:
Foreign company specialized in logistics and distribution services.

Responsibilities:
• Design, configure, integrate and implement process control solutions;
• Design, write, implement, test and document PLC and HMI software according to flow charts and description;
• Read and understand P&ID and flow diagram, translate them into PLC software;
• Develop P&IDs and loop descriptions for various processes and/or equipment;
• Develop user requirement specifications;
• Develop software and hardware design specifications;
• Develop control system validation/testing protocols;
• Write the manual of the system.

Qualifications & Experience:
• At least 2 years of equivalent or related experience;
• University Degree in Computer Science/Automation/Electrics or related field;
• Experience with a variety of control systems;
• Experience in designing and programming control systems with emphasis on PLCs (Siemens STL/LAD), SCADA (Siemens WinCC & WinCC flex) and HMI systems;
• Solid understanding of computer programming and software development;
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex system tests;
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment;
• Fluent English.
