Amazon Development Center Romania opened in Iasi in 2005 and has been ever since continuously expanding. The Iasi team is part of the e-commerce platform and its main objective is developing the newest most innovative technologies and tools that power the Amazon site and Amazon Web Services products (e.g. S3, Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud or Amazon Simple Email Services).

We are currently looking for talented, highly motivated Software Dev Engineers to join our team in Iasi. In Amazon, SDEs innovate, create prototypes and proof-of-concepts and write software that impacts a very large number of customers daily. Each SDE participates in the full development cycle of software: from design and implementation to configuration and maintenance. Our teams work in a fast-paced agile development environment and build technology that is used by millions of people around the world, tackling some of the most complex problems in large-scale computing.
