SysOps Engineer

Role Overview:
We are seeking a SysOps Engineer to manage and maintain our cloud infrastructure and IT systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working with AWS services, Linux/Windows server administration, and automation scripts. You will be responsible for deploying, monitoring, and optimizing systems while ensuring security and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and manage AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC).
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability.
• Manage Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows servers.
• Install, configure, and maintain web servers (Apache, Nginx).
• Develop and maintain Bash/Python scripts for automation.
• Perform system updates, patching, and security hardening.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues.
• Assist in backup and disaster recovery planning.
• Maintain documentation of systems and processes.

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a SysOps, IT administration, or DevOps-related role.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM).
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows server administration.
• Experience with web servers (Apache, Nginx).
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, VPN, Load Balancing, Firewalls).
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, ELK, or CloudWatch.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.

Bonus Points For:

• AWS certification (AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Solutions Architect).
• Experience with Ansible or Chef for automation.
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience with Windows Server management.
