Senior DevOps Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Senior DevOps Engineer, your primary role is to collaborate with software engineers, system operators, and other IT professionals to manage code releases and optimize cloud infrastructure within a suite of software applications hosted on public cloud infrastructure. This role focuses on automating infrastructure, improving system reliability, and streamlining deployment processes.

In this role, you will need to quickly adapt to evolving business needs, including shifting goals, new technology implementations, and emerging cloud-based solutions. You will be expected to engage, develop, and communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth operation of cloud infrastructure and software pipelines.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Extensive experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
• Strong understanding of cloud services (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Previous experience with OpenStack is a plus
• Hands-on experience in container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker
• Proficiency in managing CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in agile software development, working with languages such as Go, C/C++, Java, JavaScript
• Expertise in Windows or Linux operating system environments
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell and Python
• Strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and team-oriented approach
