Network Security Expert

Orange Systems is looking for a new colleague to fill in the position of Network Security Expert to work with our International Partners.

The Network Security Expert within the Security Operations Department is responsible for the operational management and optimization of network security controls. This role involves ensuring the effective implementation, maintenance, and operation of network security measures. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in network security controls and a solid understanding of how to manage and enhance these controls to ensure the security and integrity of the network infrastructure.

what you will be doing:

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of network security controls, including WAF, DDoS, IDS/IPS, and other security appliances
• Ensure that network security controls are properly configured, updated, and functioning as intended
• Perform regular reviews and updates of network security policies and procedures
• Manage the configuration and tuning of network security devices and systems to ensure optimal performance and security
• Implement and enforce network security policies and configurations in accordance with organizational standards and best practices
• Conduct periodic assessments of network security controls to ensure they are operating effectively and meeting compliance requirements
• Collaborate with auditors and compliance teams to ensure that network security controls meet regulatory and industry standards
• Maintain accurate documentation of network security controls, configurations, and procedures
• Prepare and present reports on the status and effectiveness of network security controls to stakeholders
• Work closely with SOC and ITN teams to support the implementation and operation of network security controls
• Provide technical support and guidance on network security control-related issues and best practices
• Stay updated on the latest developments in network security technologies and practices
• Identify opportunities for improving network security controls and processes, and implement enhancements as needed

• Bachelor’s degree
• Fluent English
• Strong understanding of network security controls, protocols, and technologies
• Experience with configuring and managing network security devices and systems
• Strong Experience in network security, with a focus on the operational management of network security controls
• High level conceptual and analytical skills, creative, problem-solving skills
• Excellent planning, Organization, problem solving & follow up skills
• Display excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
