What you’ll do:

• Set up, configure, manage, and monitoring Kubernetes systems in a cloud-based environment and bare metal
• Work with self-managed Kubernetes cluster
• Design, build and maintain the infrastructure used by all Salt Edge engineering teams
• Deploy containers using Helm charts
• Automate of delivery processes
• Debug production issues across services and levels of the stack
• Assist with creating or updating the enterprise standards when gaps are identified
• Plan for the growth of Salt Edge infrastructure

What you need:

• Experience with Kubernetes on bare metal, container orchestration and cloud-based Kubernetes
• Work experience with Linux servers in production
• Experience with a provisioning tool (Ansible, Chef, Terraform, etc)
• Experience with CI/CD tools
• Ability to automate work using a scripting/programming language
• Experience with logging, analytics and monitoring tools
• Advanced debugging skills
• Be proactive and result oriented team player
• Bonus skills:
• Awareness of industry trends (new technologies, solutions, approaches, etc.) and their applicability
