IT Architect

Orange Systems is the IT hub of Orange Moldova. An IT park resident, with over 850 employees, that delivers advanced IT solutions, enhancing a wide range of activities and full cycle development, impacting millions of customers across Europe.

The IT Architect will be accountable for partnering with key roles: project managers, business managers, technology managers, etc. Also, to create solutions which are aligned with architecture principles, leverage common solutions and services, and meet the financial targets, cost and benefits.

what you will be doing:

• analysis of business and technical needs expressions
• produce conceptual and logical architectures to meet strategic business, financial, and technology objectives through documentation of systems, architectures and process flows
• critical analysis of solution proposals
• alignment of initiative solutions designs with the architecture and technology strategies
• promote design adherence to Orange policies and standards, architectural principles and guidelines
• technical leadership across a broad scale of tools, technologies, and architecture models
• collaborate with business and technical resources to understand and develop solutions that meet business requirements, translating strategy and objectives when necessary
• develop standards, patterns, and best practices for reuse and acceleration

required skills:

• at least 3 years of information technology experience
• development experience
• broad based IT knowledge and experience (Hardware, Software, Middleware, Databases, protocols, etc)
• knowledge of UML
• requirements analysis
• interpreting business needs and applying innovative technology solutions
• designing Microservices and/or APIs experience (RESTful APIs are preferred)
• have good written, reading, comprehension and verbal communication skills in English

optional knowledge and skills:

• cloud and DevOps processes and solutions
• knowledge of telco domain and its aspects
• work effectively within a fast-paced, cohesive Architecture team and willing to learn fast and adapt quickly to change
