Intercompany Accounting Manager

Job Summary:

The ICO Manager will be responsible for overseeing intercompany reconciliations, managing intercompany agreements, ensuring the accuracy of intracompany financial flows, and verifying correct invoicing between entities. This role requires a strong understanding of intercompany transactions and accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for intercompany reconciliation processes.
• Develop and maintain documentation of intercompany policies and procedures.
• Manage intercompany agreements, verify correct cancluations and invoicing between entities, ensuring the accuracy of intracompany financial flows.
• Conduct detailed intercompany account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with finance teams to standardize and improve reconciliation and invoicing procedures.
• Manage month-end and year-end intercompany closing activities.
• Utilize financial systems and reconciliation tools to optimize processes.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting for multinational companies, and reconciliation practices.
• Knowledge of consolidation principles and procedures.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Higher Education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience with multinational companies and intercompany financial operations, or experience in the audit of multinational groups and consolidated financial statements.
• Established understanding of IFRS and GAAP.
