Our client is a large financial organization that is rapidly developing and has a strong reputation in the international financial market. Currently, there is an open position for:
HR DIRECTOR (FINACIAL SECTOR), CHISINAU
The HR Director plays a key role in the company’s development.
The HRD is responsible for designing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and practices that align with business objectives, foster a positive corporate culture, and ensure compliance with labor laws. This role requires strategic thinking and strong leadership skills to oversee talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals and drive company success;
- Lead recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent;
- Manage performance evaluation programs, including goal setting, appraisals, and career development;
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal company policies;
- Develop and implement employee engagement and retention initiatives;
- Design competitive compensation and benefits programs;
- Organize training and development programs to enhance employees’ professional and leadership skills;
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures;
- Monitor HR metrics and analytics to assess trends and make data-driven decisions;
- Collaborate with senior management to enhance corporate culture and organizational
- development;
- Develop workforce planning strategies aligned with business needs;
- Implement and optimize HR technologies.
Requirements:
Hard Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in HR;
- Advantage: SHRM, CIPD, or MBA certification;
- Fluency in Romanian, English, and Russian;
- Experience in the financial sector, HR process management, and optimization;
- Financial acumen: knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial modeling to assess the economic impact of HR initiatives;
- Experience in implementing technological and innovative solutions in banking, including digital transformation, automation, and process optimization;
- Preferred experience in international companies/banks to apply best global HR practices.
Soft Skills:
- Results-oriented with excellent project execution skills;
- Team player: an expert in the field while engaging colleagues in joint development and growth;
- Strong leadership and team management skills;
- Strategic thinker: ability to analyze HR processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop solutions for optimization;

- Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and make informed decisions for effective transformation management;
