Head of IT Core Platforms Department

We announce a new vacant position of the Head of IT Core Platforms Departmentwhose main responsibilities will include leading and overseeing the development and maintenance of the organization's core IT platforms. This role involves ensuring the platform's scalability, reliability and security, while integrating innovative technological solutions to support the organization's strategic goals.

In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

Coordinate and oversee the development of key systems and directions, such as Core Banking Systems (e.g., Temenos T24), Data Warehouse, Data Lake, AI/ML, and the integration layer between internal systems, services, and partners;
Ensure the implementation and compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements;
Lead IT development projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery;
Formulate and execute the strategy within the candidate's area of responsibility;
Ensure effective collaboration between development teams, business units, and external partners;
Utilize modern approaches to development, testing and project management in both agile and classical styles;
Develop and maintain a micro services-based, scalable, high-load architecture using containerization;
Create and improve existing regulatory documentation;
Formulate strategic plans for the development of IT systems and processes.

Skills and abilities that make you suitable for this position:

Higher education in IT, software development or related disciplines;
At least 7-10 years of experience in IT development and project management;
Proven experience in leading and managing development teams and projects;
Experience in developing and maintaining scalable, high-load architectures;
Experience in formulating and executing strategic plans for IT development;
Experience working with Core Banking Systems, Data Warehousing, AI/ML, and integration layers;
Strong understanding and experience with Core Banking Systems (e.g., Temenos T24), Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, AI/ML, and CRM systems (e.g., Creatio);
Experience in building and managing micro services-based, scalable, high-load architectures using container technologies;
Proven track record in leading large-scale IT projects;
Familiarity with modern development, testing, and project management methodologies, both agile and classical;
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders;
Strong strategic thinking and the ability to formulate and implement development strategies;
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and experience in creating and improving regulatory documentation;
Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2), as well as, certifications in agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)).
