Role Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for extracting, processing, and structuring data from various sources, ensuring that it is clean, consistent, and ready for integration into our platform. If you enjoy solving complex data-related challenges and are passionate about efficiency and accuracy, we want to meet you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize scripts or tools for processing and structuring raw data from various formats (e.g., JSON, XML, CSV, HTML, text).
- Extract and transform unstructured or semi-structured data into usable formats while maintaining high accuracy.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve data processing issues to ensure data integrity and quality.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate processed data into our systems and platforms.
- Continuously improve data processing workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Document methodologies, tools, and workflows in detail.
- Proven experience in data processing, analysis, or transformation.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages used for data processing, such as Python, Java, or equivalent.
- Advanced knowledge of regular expressions, web scraping techniques, and API usage.
- Familiarity with various data formats, including JSON, XML, CSV, and HTML.
- Experience working with relational and non-relational databases (SQL, NoSQL).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for data processing.
- Familiarity with ETL tools and workflows.
- Knowledge of data enrichment and cleansing processes.
- Understanding of data compliance and privacy regulations.
