As part of the company’s expansion in Moldova, we are looking for a professional to join our team.

Project Description 
Our client is a leading software provider for converged TV and video advertising. It empowers marketers, agencies and media companies to make smarter advertising decisions and optimize their digital video and TV advertising by simplifying big data. 
The Data Platform team processes large scale data for reporting and analytics platforms. The team manages PB+ data lake that powers many critical businesses. Besides, the team develops a modern reporting platform that is built on top of Apache Druid, a real-time analytics database.
 
What You'll Do

• Large-scale data ingestion and integration – design, implement scalable ETL processes to collect and store large amount of data from multiple data centers and diverse external partners; 
• Data warehouse query engine – design, implement our proprietary cutting edge Hadoop-based data warehouse systems; 
• Technical leadership – based on the level of experience, own and evolve platform components and mentor other engineers; 
• Collaboration on requirements – Work with the Engineering, Product Management, and Sales teams to come up with features that would help us and our clients be more productive and improve the bottom line; 
• Keep it running – Help troubleshoot application operational issues.

• Java, Apache Druid, SpringBoot, InfluxDB/Grafana, Microservice architecture, Spark, SparkSQL, Spark streaming, Hadoop

Job Requirements

• Strong knowledge of common algorithms and data structures;
• Strong communication skills;
• Experience developing robust and fault tolerant ETL pipelines; 
• Experience with Hadoop, Spark on YARN; 
• 3+ years of experience with Java (Scala is a plus);
• Proficiency in relational databases;
• Experience with Linux based operation systems is preferred;
• Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English.
