Billing Analyst

Orange Systems is looking for a new colleague to fill in the position of Billing Analyst to work with our International Partners.

The Billing Analyst will be responsible to support the day-to-day operations of the billing team, ensuring that bill runs are processed materially accurately and dealing with any issues and incidents impacting billing. He/ she will be in charge of ad-hoc support identifying improvements and fixes, whilst working with the wider organization to deliver solutions.

what you will be doing:

• Analyse billing data to ensure all billing activities adhere to company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements;
• Investigate and resolve billing disputes or issues by reviewing contracts, payment history, and communication with clients or internal teams.
• Identify billing discrepancies and recommend improvements to billing processes and systems to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Assist the Billing TL and Senior Billing Analysts in ticket resolution or any queries that might arise, providing support with the daily processing of pre and post bill runs.
• Monitor customer payments and apply payments to correct accounts.
• Provide support for internal teams to resolve any billing-related issues efficiently.

what we are looking for:

• University Degree
• Experience working with HOBS or other utilities billing system - an advantage but not necessary. Strong transferrable analytical abilities necessary
• Experience in Excel highly useful, including vlookups, sumifs, countifs, and the ability to manage data sets to identify errors
• A desire to innovate to deliver process improvement
• Confidence and ability to communicate at all levels
• Ability to act with discretion, tact, and professionalism in all situations
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Be comfortable to be working in changing environment
• Attention to detail with a desire to get things right
• Possess the ability to thrive in a fast-growing environment and must have willingness to pitch-in when asked to support other areas
