Job Description:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth for our dispatch company in the trucking industry. The Sales Manager will manage a team of sales representatives and will be responsible for ensuring that they meet or exceed sales targets and quotas. In addition, the Sales Manager will be responsible for conducting cold calling and hot calling to identify potential customers and generate new business.

Tasks:
Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
Set sales targets and quotas for the sales team, and monitor performance against targets.
Hire, train, and manage a team of sales representatives to ensure that they are meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
Conduct cold calling and hot calling to identify potential customers and generate new business.
Collect all necessary documents from customers (owner operators), check insurance expiration, and facilitate the signing of company contracts.
Support owner operators through the onboarding process, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and all questions are answered.
Add all client details, files, and information into our systems, including Google Drive, CRM system, and Transportation Management System.
Assign tasks to the Dispatch team to complete the onboarding call and find loads for clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, and ensure that customer needs are being met.
Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth, and provide regular reports to senior management.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the trucking industry, including market trends and customer needs.
Work closely with other departments, such as operations and finance, to ensure that customer orders are processed and fulfilled.
Attend industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date on industry trends and network with potential customers.
