Front-end web developer

A Front-end developer in the DevelopmentAid context software developer who focuses on implementing front-end applications which can run on an existing back-end system using a client-server model.

Responsibilities:

- Design, implement and maintain sustainable software packages.
- The software developer should be always inquisitive, up to date with new technologies and should be a team player.

Operating Environment:

Use a variety of tools (Git, Bugzilla, TargetProcess, etc) to keep the development process going smoothly.

Requirements:

- Excellent knowledge of the following technologies: Javascript, JQuery, JSON, XML, HTML/CSS.
- Good knowledge of cross-browser support best practices.
- Good knowledge of design patterns and OOP principles. Front-end MVC architecture knowledge is appreciated.
- Ability to create and interpret UML designs.
- Proactive spirit and willing to work in a team.
- Agile, Kanban and RUP knowledge and experience is very welcome.
