3d Character Modeler & Animator (mobile games)

Job Overview
We’re looking for a 3D Character Modeler & Animator to join our mobile game development team! If you have experience creating optimized, stylized, and engaging 3D characters for mobile games, we’d love to hear from you.

Your Role:
- Model and texture low-poly and mid-poly 3D characters for mobile games.
- Rig and animate characters with smooth deformations and realistic movements.
- Ensure all character assets are optimized for mobile performance.
- Work closely with game designers & developers to integrate animations seamlessly.
- Create modular character components for customization systems when needed.
- Troubleshoot and refine models based on performance testing.

What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a 3D Character Modeler & Animator for mobile games.
- Strong portfolio showcasing stylized character models & animations.
- Proficiency in Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max for modeling & animation.
- Experience with Substance Painter, Photoshop, or Krita for texturing.
- Solid understanding of low-poly modeling, rigging, and animation for mobile optimization.
- Familiarity with Unity (Animator, Mecanim) and animation techniques like blend trees.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative game development environment.

Nice to Have:
- Experience with casual, hyper-casual, RPG, or strategy mobile games.
- Knowledge of LOD optimization, texture atlases, and GPU instancing for mobile.
- Familiarity with sprite-based animation and lightweight animation techniques.
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python, C#, or Blueprint) for animation automation.

Additional Information:
- Equipment: Company laptops will be provided, equipped with time-tracking software to monitor working hours.
