• Responsible for the operation of end to end workflows, either automated via our
proprietary ContentSelect platform or manually when required.
• Our workflows include functions such as tape & file ingest, quality check, logging of timecodes, standards conversion, transcoding, basic video editing, tape layback and either file or tape delivery.
• Our customers depend on TVT Ltd to meet transmission, on demand and content sales fulfilment deadlines. Responsible for the delivery of an efficient, accurate and professional media delivery service, meeting or exceeding quality standards and contracted service levels.
• TVT Ltd aims to be right first time, on time, every time and essential in delivering
excellent automated QC software reports to identify problematic frames or
sections, understand the nature of the problem and how to correct it is highly
desirable.
• QC Operator- review content and classify it according to the ITU-R 5-Point
Quality Grading Scale, operating video processing tools such as transcoders &
standards converters, ability to perform basic video edits using Adobe Premiere
and Final Cut.
• Knowledge of physical video tape formats and experience of handling tape, operating and lining up video tape machines, working with software workflow orchestration tools and media asset management systems

Monitored and ensured quality standards and playlist continuity for multiple TV-channels, in
close partnership with the Programming Department.

• Operated live event broadcast
• Handled all daily communication between channels and the play out control (e.g.: playlist deliveries/updates, live transmission preparation, graphic scheduling, etc.)
• Ingesting a high volume of video rushes in a wide range of formats from cards, cameras, drives and FTP’s.
• Transcoding media to editable formats and correct frame rates.
• Setting up Final Cut Pro project files, syncing camera footage and audio, and organizing projects for editors, working with ingest and media asset management systems
• Complements a high degree of attention to detail and willingness to work unsociable hours on a 24/7/365 shift pattern.
