Technology Evangelist – Academic Partnerships and Community Manager

Role Overview:
Are you excited about AI research? Do you understand scientific language and know how to communicate with researchers? Are you someone who could convince researchers to use our technology and educate them about its benefits? Look no further; we are looking for you. We are seeking a proactive, results-driven technology evangelist to represent our brand in front of a technical audience. Your role will involve scouting and reaching out to potential partner universities and researchers across the globe. You will support them at every step to ensure a smooth onboarding experience and high retention.

Important: We are looking for someone capable of building a community of researchers that will use our product for free. Even though this is not a sales position, a combination of strong technical and persuasion skills is highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively prospect new research groups and individuals working on interesting AI algorithms and models, and match them with our needs.
• Explain the product and its features via live demos and presentations.
• Onboard researchers and provide support at every step.
• Develop and maintain relationships with researchers, understand their needs and identify new features & partnership opportunities.
• Build the community of researchers on Discord.
• Ensure all interactions are accurately recorded in the CRM system.
• Adapt to different time zones as needed for our clients.
• Learn and maintain an expert level of product knowledge and competence.
• Consistently achieve and exceed ambitious researcher acquisition targets.

Requirements:

• Excitement About New Technologies: You follow new technology trends and feel the excitement around AI technologies and its potential.
• High Level English Fluency: Must be able to communicate effectively with partners and colleagues in English.
• Operational Excellence: Extraordinary organizational skills and multitasking are a must.
• Willingness to Go Above and Beyond: Demonstrated drive to achieve and exceed KPIs.
• High Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft / Google tools (e.g., Sheets, Excel, Teams etc.).

Bonus Qualifications and Soft Skills:

• Previous Experience in Community Building: Proven track record in creating and managing an online community.
• PhD/Post-Doc Background: Understanding AI researchers and structures in academia is the key to success.
• British or American Accent: This can be advantageous for engaging with the international community of researchers.
