About the Role
Together with one of our clients, we are working on building a data warehouse on AWS and maintaining data models and schema designs that support business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Applies standard data modeling and design techniques based upon a detailed understanding of requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain data models and schema designs that support our business needs.
• Work with product teams to ensure that data pipelines meet their needs.
• Monitor the performance of data pipelines and resolve issues as they arise.
• Ensure that data is accurate, reliable, and available.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data infrastructure and pipelines.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong AWS cloud service. Familiar with AWS Glue and AWS Redshift or AWS Aurora. Experience in building a data warehouse on AWS is a must. Experience with Snowflake is an advantage.
• Deep understanding of SQL, including SSIS, SSAS and SSRS
• Strong experience with ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data integration
• Experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
• Apache Spark or other big data and data engineering frameworks
• Databricks or other managed data analytics platforms
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure
• Data modeling, data ingestion, data orchestration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in English
