Junior QA

About the Role
We are looking for a Junior QA Tester to join our team and help ensure the quality and performance of our web applications. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers to identify bugs, improve test coverage, and enhance the user experience. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about software testing and eager to grow in the field of Quality Assurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web applications, ensuring functionality, usability, and performance meet requirements.
• Design and create test cases, checklists, and test plans based on business requirements, specifications, and user stories.
• Identify, document, and report bugs and issues in a clear and structured manner.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand system behavior and requirements.
• Assist in regression testing to verify bug fixes and new features before release.
• Follow best practices in software testing and contribute to improving QA processes.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Strong experience with software testing principles and methodologies.
• Ability to write clear and concise bug reports using tools like Jira, YouTrack, or similar.
• Experience with browser developer tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools) for debugging.
• Understanding of API testing (e.g., using Postman).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is an advantage but not required.
• Interest in learning automation testing frameworks.
