Moldovan Association of ICT Companies promotes the development of the ICT sector in the Republic of Moldova through viable partnerships between the private companies, similar organizations, state institutions, and international organizations.

The most important project aims to establish and operate a fully functional and sustainable ICT Excellence Centre in Moldova. The activity will establish and manage a physical facility for the Centre, provide for appropriate equipment and staff, and organize trainings and services to students and IT sector workers related to information and communications technology (ICT).

Fundraising and Business Development Manager

The Fundraising and Business Development Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the financial sustainability and strategic growth of the Tekwill in Every School initiative. This individual will be responsible for securing funding from various sources, cultivating partnerships, and driving business opportunities to support the initiative’s mission of delivering tech, STEM, and entrepreneurial education across Moldova.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fundraising Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure grants, sponsorships, and donations from public and private sources, both locally and internationally.
- Identify and approach potential donors, foundations, international organizations, corporate sponsors, and government programs to secure funding.
- Write and submit grant proposals, ensuring alignment with donor requirements and objectives.
- Track and report on funding pipelines, maintaining an organized database of donor prospects and activities.
- Organize fundraising campaigns and events to promote awareness of Tekwill in Every School and attract sponsors.

2. Business Development:
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships with companies, NGOs, educational institutions, and governmental bodies to expand program reach and impact.
- Collaborate with the private sector to secure in-kind contributions, sponsorships, or joint initiatives supporting the program.
- Design value-added business models for expanding services (e.g., paid certifications, workshops, or custom training modules for schools).
- Explore opportunities for monetization, such as licensing the curriculum or developing premium offerings that align with the program’s core goals.

3. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential donors, sponsors, and partners.
- Represent Tekwill in Every School at relevant events, conferences, and meetings to increase visibility and attract funding opportunities.
- Develop tailored presentations and materials to communicate the program’s value proposition to various audiences.

4. Financial Management and Reporting:
- Work closely with the finance team to develop budgets and forecasts for new and ongoing initiatives.
- Monitor fundraising and partnership activities to ensure targets are met.
- Prepare detailed donor reports, demonstrating the impact of their contributions and the program’s progress.
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements and regulations in all financial reporting.

5. Marketing and Communication for Fundraising:
- Collaborate with the communications team to design and execute campaigns highlighting the program’s impact and need for support.
- Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, donor newsletters, and impact reports to engage current and potential supporters.
- Leverage digital platforms, such as social media and email campaigns, to promote fundraising activities.

6. Program Alignment:
- Work closely with the program team to understand operational needs and align fundraising efforts with program goals.
- Provide input on program design to ensure it remains appealing to potential funders and partners.

Desired Qualifications:
- Proven experience in fundraising, business development, or partnership management, ideally within the education or nonprofit sectors.
- Strong understanding of Moldova’s educational and business landscape, as well as experience engaging with international donors and organizations.
- Excellent proposal writing and grant application skills, with a track record of securing substantial funding.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for education and technology.

7. Compensation

Compensation will be based on experience and performance, including a base salary with commission incentives tied to enrollment growth and partnership success.

8. Reporting Structure

The Fundraising and Business Development Manager will report to the Program Director of ATIC and collaborate closely with the “Tekwill in Every School” team.
