Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Forex Manager to take ownership of and lead the Forex function within our Fintech product. This individual will be responsible for analyzing currency markets, executing forex trades, and developing innovative trading strategies. With a strong focus on risk management, the Forex Manager will drive profitability and ensure optimal performance in a fast-paced, competitive market.

BLOCK 1. Responsibilities
Market Analysis and Strategy Development:

• Conduct comprehensive technical and fundamental analysis of forex markets.
• Develop, implement, and optimize currency trading strategies to meet profitability targets.
• Monitor global economic indicators, news, and events impacting the forex markets and advise on their implications.
• Collaborate with the product team to design trading algorithms and analytics tools.

Trade Execution and Monitoring:

• Internal settlements of currencies daily based on opposite transactions and pass minimum FX through core banks to maximize FX revenue
• Execute foreign exchange trades across various pairs to support company objectives.
• Continuously monitor open positions, analyze market trends, and adjust strategies as necessary.
• Ensure timely and accurate execution, minimizing slippage, and maximizing returns.

Risk Management and Compliance:

• Identify and mitigate potential risks by setting stop losses, limits, and other risk controls.
• Monitor and report on risk exposure levels, recommending adjustments to align with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Stay informed about regulatory changes and ensure all trading activities comply with applicable legal standards.

Client Relationship Management:

• Collaborate with the sales team to address client inquiries and provide insights into the forex market.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships by offering tailored forex solutions, market insights, and ongoing support.
• Assist in training and educating clients on forex trading products and services available on the platform.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyze trading data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare regular reports on forex market activities, performance metrics, and trading outcomes for internal stakeholders.
• Provide insights and recommendations to management based on data-driven analysis and performance tracking.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with development, product, and IT teams to ensure trading systems and platforms operate smoothly and are optimized for user experience.
• Provide input on product enhancements, system improvements, and new feature developments to support trading activities and client satisfaction.

BLOCK 2. Qualifications

• Proved expertise to do internal settlements of currencies daily based on opposite transactions and pass minimum FX through core banks to maximize FX revenue.
• Experience in forex trading, with a background in fintech preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (MBA or relevant certification is a plus).
• Minimum of [X] years of experience in forex trading, with a background in fintech preferred.
• Proficiency in trading platforms (e.g., MetaTrader, Bloomberg Terminal) and analytical tools; familiarity with trading algorithms and market data analysis.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with experience in technical and fundamental analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to clients and internal teams.
• Demonstrated knowledge of risk management strategies and regulatory compliance in forex trading.
• Keen attention to accuracy and precision in trade execution and data reporting.
