DevOps Team Leader

We are looking for a DevOps Team Leader to spearhead the development of a high-performance eCommerce platform. Working closely with our Project Manager, you will lead a talented team of PHP developers, a tester, a web designer (UI/UX), and a copywriter to build, optimize, and maintain the core technology behind our evolving online marketplace, ultra.md.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using the Laravel framework;
• Manage a team of PHP developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and operations to deliver a robust, scalable, and user-friendly platform;
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and project timelines;
• Engage in architectural discussions, proposing innovative solutions to complex technical challenges;
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance while ensuring timely resolutions;
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the platform.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• At least 2 years of experience as a PHP Team Leader or similar managerial role;
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring development teams;
• Strong expertise in object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns;
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies;
• Hands-on experience with MySQL or other relational databases;
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git;
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a critical mindset and proactive approach;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with Vue.js or other JavaScript frameworks;
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools (e.g., CI/CD, Docker, Jenkins)
