What you’ll do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain a scalable Data Warehouse or Data Platform.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
  • Build ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from various sources.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across the data platform.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the data architecture and processes.
  • Perform data analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Implement data governance best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data science and data engineering.

What you need:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience (3+ years) as a Data Scientist or Data Engineer.
  • Hands-on experience with building and maintaining Data Warehouses or Data Platforms.
  • Experience with ETL tools and processes.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Clickhouse).

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Superset).
  • Experience with Apache Airflow
  • Familiarity with data modeling and database design.
  • Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security best practices.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer).
  • Experience:
  • Experience with NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with machine learning and data mining techniques.
