Senior project manager from outsource

A U.S.-based software and services technology company, founded in 1996, is expanding its team. With development centers and branch offices across Poland, Portugal, and Ukraine, the team works remotely throughout Europe since 2020.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with at least 3 years’ experience in software project management. Our candidate should have proven client-side experience, including facilitating pre-sale activities such as workshops, requirements elicitation and excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Requirements:

- Project Management Methodologies: A deep understanding and practical experience with various project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
- Risk Management: Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks. Ability to develop comprehensive risk management strategies to ensure project success.
- Budget Management: Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets effectively, including estimating costs, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
- Project Management Tools: Familiarity with a wide range of project management tools and software such as Microsoft Project, JIRA
- Resource Allocation: Skill in optimizing resource allocation and workload distribution across teams, considering skillsets, availability, and project priorities.
- Scope Management: Proven track record in defining project scope, managing scope changes, and ensuring alignment with project objectives and client expectations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively engage and manage various stakeholders, both internal and external, and maintain transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Quality Assurance: Experience in implementing quality assurance processes to ensure that project deliverables meet established quality standards.
- Change Management: Ability to navigate and lead teams through organizational changes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
- Data Analysis: Capacity to utilize data and analytics to monitor project progress, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
- Performance Metrics: Skill in defining and measuring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project success and drive improvements.
- Conflict Resolution: Strong aptitude for addressing conflicts and challenges within project teams, stakeholders, or clients, and effectively resolving issues to maintain project momentum.

Nice to have:

- Scrum Master certification or PMP certification is a plus
- Strong knowledge of the latest trends in software development technologies and tools
- Successful experience in managing distributed development teams

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire product life cycle, from requirements gathering to product release
- Define and ensure strict adherence to best practice development methodologies
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of project progress and deliverables
- Guarantee the timely delivery of all projects while maintaining high quality standards
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project/product development teams
- Play a key role in project budget planning, forecasting, and execution
- Actively participate in company-wide process improvement initiatives
