Executive director

A group of Moldovan tourism related companies (tour operators, travel agencies, hotels, wineries) are going to register an association for inbound tourism in Moldova. The association is seeking a qualified individual to be employed for a full-time position of Executive Director.


Main tasks and responsibilities:

The new association will promote Moldova as tourist destination and will promote the services of its members. The Executive Director will be responsible for day to day management of the association, enlarging the association by attracting new members, implement joint promotional activities, maintain and animate the website www.moldovaholiday.travel and the social media around it etc. The Executive Director must establish strong relationships industry stakeholders from public and private sectors.


Qualifications:

• Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or a related disciple
• Knowledge and work experience in the tourism or hospitality industry,
• Work experience in an industry association, preferred
• Excellent communications skills (written and verbal); comfortable speaking in public
• Initiative, self-confidence; able to work independently to advance association’s activities
• Strong people skills to permit working with diverse beneficiaries and partners
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Experience with Internet marketing and social media, preferred
• Fluency in English and Romanian (verbal and written). Russian skills also desired.
